As our skin ages, key components such as collagen and hyaluronic acid are lost from the skin. This makes certain areas of our face appear saggy and tired looking.
Fillers contain sterile hyaluronic acid which is injected into the skin to replace what has been lost with age. This plumps up the skin and removes wrinkles, making our skin look more youthful. Fillers can also be used to create volume, and to enhance lip and face contours.
The filler injections are administered in conjunction with local anaesthetic, ensuring there is little to no discomfort. The procedure only takes a few minutes and the results are visible immediately. The effects last between 6-12 months depending on the site treated, injection type and skin type. For lips (our most popular filler treatment) the effects usually last 6 months.
